Travel in Thailand during COVID-19 | What you need to know ?

The signed of Covid-19 situation in Thailand shows a good sign for the past few weeks and the government agree with easing Covid-19 restrictions. Starting from 17th May 2020, there are many businesses allowed to reopen and operate the business. What is the general guideline you need to know before going out to the public? #NewNormal #Thailand

  1. Mask is essential: You need to wear a mask if you want to go outside your home. It is required to wear everyone to wear masks in all public places and checking the body’s temperature with a thermometer before entering the building.



Social Distancing: Keeping space between yourself and other people outside of your home by stay at least 6 feet ( Around 2 meters) between people around you.




Wash hand with soap or hand sanitizer :

Washing hands can keep you healthy and prevent the spread of respiratory and diarrheal infections from one person to the next. Germs can spread from other people or surfaces. There is a hand sanitizer provided before you enter the shopping mall and building.


Check-in and Check out with QR Code: The government has launched a mobile app called "Thai Chana" to tracks people and trace contacts in case there are infected people among the shoppers visiting the same mall or department store.



Maintaining social distancing can be inconvenient, but it is for the greater good.  Be reminded to follow the health and safety recommendations to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 disease by keeping social distancing, wearing a mask or cloth mask when going outside, and frequently washing hands.
