Pad Thai | Thai Recipes | Stay Home series

Smother homemade Pad Thai with shrimp, bean sprouts, peanuts, and green onion for a Thai dish you will prepare again and again. It is easy to cook and takes only 30 minutes to make.


Ingredients :


  • 8 ounces uncooked flat rice noodles (Pad Thai noodles)

  • 1/3 Cup of Tofu

  • 1/3 Cup of sliced Chinese chives

  • 1/3 Cup of dried shrimp

  • 1 cup of fresh bean sprout

  • 2 Tablespoons of sweet radish

  • 1 Egg

  • 1/3 Cup of Pad Thai Sauce

  • 2 Tablespoons of Smashed roasted peanuts

  • Shrimps (Based on size)

Pad Thai Sauce Ingredients :

  • 1/3 Cup of tamarind sauce

  • 2 Tablespoons of Coconut sugar

  • 1 Tablespoon of fish sauce


Preparation:


Pad Thai Sauce

  • Boil 1 1/2 Cups of Water

  • Add 2 Tablespoons of Coconut sugar

  • Add 1/3 Cup of tamarind sauce

  • 1 Tablespoon of fish sauce


Pad Thai :

  • Stir-fry 2 minutes or until shrimps almost are done and serve on the plate

  • Add Vegetable oil and stir-fry with 1/3 Cup of Tofu

  • Add uncooked flat rice noodles and add Pad Thai sauce and stir-fry until it cooked

  • Add 1 cup of fresh bean sprout and 1/3 Cup of dried shrimp

  • Mixed with egg and 2 Tablespoons of sweet radish

  • Add sliced Chinese chives and 2 Tablespoons of Smashed roasted peanuts

  • Serve with cooked shrimp, fresh bean sprout bean Lime juice, cayenne pepper and Smashed roasted peanuts
